Autos of Chicago is a growing independent dealership, service department, and collision center looking for an experienced Parts Counter Person to join our team.  

Responsibilities:
• Assist technicians, service advisors, and body shop personnel with parts requests
• Source, price, and order OEM, aftermarket, and recycled parts
• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels
• Receive, verify, label, and stock incoming parts orders
• Process parts returns and warranty claims
• Work with vendors to obtain the best pricing and availability
• Ensure all parts are billed correctly to repair orders
• Monitor backorders and communicate updates to service and body shop teams
• Maintain a clean and organized parts department
• Assist in cycle counts and inventory audits
• Work closely with management to improve efficiency and profitability

Requirements:
• Previous automotive parts experience required
• Experience with Dealertrack DMS preferred
• ability to shop around for best prices
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
