Autos of Chicago is a growing independent dealership specializing in pre-owned luxury vehicles. With our in-house service department and body shop, we provide top-level maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on high-end brands such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche, Land Rover, and more.
We’re looking for skilled Automotive Technicians/Mechanics who take pride in their craft and want to work with premium vehicles in a professional, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles (domestic and luxury imports).
- Conduct inspections (safety, UCI, reconditioning) and provide repair recommendations.
- Complete repair orders accurately in the DMS with clear technician notes.
- Work with the Service Manager and Parts Department to ensure timely completion of work.
- Perform warranty and customer-pay repairs to manufacturer and dealer standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety protocols.
- Assist with vehicle reconditioning for front-line readiness.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic (luxury/high-line preferred).
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and scan tools.
- Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and wiring diagrams.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- ASE certifications or manufacturer-specific training preferred (but not required).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
